The Learning Consortium respects the privacy of its members and visitors to our website. Any information collected while on our Web site is used solely for the purposes as set forth in this privacy statement.

The main objective of our website is to encourage networking amongst members and participation in events hosted by The Learning Consortium.  To support networking and interaction, The Learning Consortium may require visitors to provide information to access certain areas of our Website. This information may include name, email, address, phone numbers, and other demographic information. Areas of our Web site requiring this information generally include any interactive area, such as forums and chats, discussions, and polls. Visitors provide this information on a voluntary basis to gain access to these areas.

Information about members collected through the Membership Application will be stored in The Learning Consortiums membership database. The Learning Consortium may use email or postal addresses for notifying members about upcoming events, website additions, and/or other products and services offered by The Learning Consortium or its partners.

The Learning Consortium will make our membership and conference attendee list available to other reputable organizations whose products or services we think you might find interesting.  The information will only include a mailing address.  We will not sell e-mail address to any outside organizations.  If you do not want to receive mailings from any organization to which The Learning Consortium sells its membership mailing list, please let us know by emailing us at

The Learning Consortium, however, cannot control the acts of its members or visitors who use the site. If personal information, such as name, email addresses, mailing addresses, and phone numbers, are provided through threaded discussions, they may be used by other parties outside of The Learning Consortium for unsolicited e-mail or other contact.

The discussion forums and chat messages are for members to use to communicate information about the training profession. We welcome your participation; however, as a courtesy to all users we ask for your cooperation in abiding by a few guidelines.
We intend to provide the highest quality community experience for all of our members and following these guidelines is the best way to maintain a quality environment for all users.
Member accounts will be suspended and posting privileges removed, as a result of continuous abuse. Refund request for membership fees will not be granted. Thanks for your cooperation.
We encourage you to take full advantage of the Discussion Forums. But should we find postings that are inappropriate for any reason, we will remove them from the forums. We reserve the right to ban contributors.
Guidelines
Do not send communications that are intended to harass, belittle, or humiliate, another member.
Do not send communications that contains vulgar, obscene or objectionable language.
Do not send communications that contains spam.
Do not use the discussion forums to convey junk mail, spam, unauthorized advertising, promotional materials, chain letters or pyramid schemes.
Do not use the discussion forums to send Files that contain malicious code, viruses, corrupted files, or any other similar software or programs that may damage the operation of another's computer, network, or this site.
Do not use the discussion forums to slander consultants, vendors or products. Members are allowed to mention vendors and give thier opinion on their products and/or services. We would suggest not discussing a vendor if you did not have a favorable experience.
Do not use the discussion forums to sell or advertise services, job postings, products, events or an organization.
